Currently I am a Super Senior at the University of Wisconsin-Stout majoring in Information Technology Management. I also have an Associates of Applied Science in Programming from Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. A question that I get asked is why did I go from programming to the networking side of IT. Well to be honest, my first choice was programming and the program at Stout was an Applied Mathematics and Computer Science major which meant I was taking 9 classes of math when I only wanted to learn programming. So, I decided to move over to the other end of IT and learn the networking side of things and I must say, I really enjoy it. Along with learning the networking side, I am also learning what it takes to be an effective Network Administrator and a Systems Administrator. Though I am learning the networking side, I still spend time and also have experience creating Content Management Systems, Web Sites, and various other .NET and Java web applications.
